Introduction

By engaging with Onco:Innovate – whether through participation in programs, platforms, activities like events, webinars, acceleration programs, campaigns, collaborations, or communications – you agree to the following Terms & Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. Onco:Innovate is committed to protecting your personal data and processing it transparently in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Participation and Engagement

Engaging with Onco:Innovate in any form (e.g., signing up for a platform, attending sessions, submitting proposals, or interacting with affiliated tools and services) signifies your acceptance of these Terms. If you act on behalf of an organization or another individual, you confirm that the relevant parties are aware of and agree to these Terms.

Scope of Services

Onco:Innovate provides access to innovation-driven programs, matchmaking platforms, knowledge resources, expert networks, and event-related offerings. All associated costs not explicitly covered by Onco:Innovate (such as travel or accommodation for live events) are the responsibility of the participant or user.

Onco:Innovate Events

Onco:Innovate may organize or co-host in-person, hybrid, or virtual events, including conferences, workshops, pitch sessions, or networking meetups. Participation in these events may require registration, which may include payment of a fee. Unless otherwise stated, event registration only grants access to the event itself. Participants are solely responsible for any additional costs such as travel, accommodation, and insurance. By attending any Onco:Innovate event, you agree that images, audio, or video recordings that include you may be captured and used for promotional and informational purposes. Onco:Innovate reserves the right to modify event agendas, speaker line-ups, or formats at its sole discretion and will provide timely updates where possible. Ticket purchases for Onco:Innovate events are non-refundable, but transfers to another person may be permitted upon prior written notice.

Onco Innovate makes no warranties regarding the event or materials offered in connection with the event. The event is provided “as is.” Onco Innovate is not liable for any damages that may result from participation in the event unless required by law.
The maximum liability of Onco Innovate in the case of a claim arising from the event or this agreement is limited to the amount you paid for registration to the event.

Media & Publicity Consent

By participating in or engaging with Onco:Innovate activities, you grant Onco:Innovate the right to create, use, and share visual or audio media (e.g., photos, recordings, screenshots) that may feature you. These may be used for promotional, educational, or informational purposes across public platforms including websites, social media, and press channels.

Collection and Use of Personal Data

We may collect and process the following types of personal data:

• Full name, email address, organization, professional role 
• Interaction data, such as platform activity or program preferences 

Purposes for Data Processing

• Program Delivery & Communication: To enable participation, provide updates, and maintain contact. 
• Partner Engagement: Sharing limited data with vetted partners (e.g., members, sponsors, mentors, speakers, partners) to support collaboration, matchmaking, or shared initiatives. 
• Marketing Communications: To inform you about future programs or offerings from Onco:Innovate. You may opt out at any time. 

Data Security & Storage

Personal data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described and comply with legal obligations. While Onco:Innovate takes reasonable steps to protect your data, no system can guarantee complete security. Users acknowledge the inherent risks of online data transmission.
